I’m Danny Jackson, sometimes Daniel, never been much of a Dan.

I’m an Illustrator, Fine Artist, & Senior Producer based out of Queens, NY. I’ve got a Bachelors in Fine Arts from The School of Visual Arts (SVA) in NYC, 12+ years of NYC ad agency production experience, and a lifetime of drawing. Each of those experiences have added something valuable to my toolkit.

I grew up in Connecticut in a beautiful wooded area. I can remember drawing rainbows & pumpkins at 3 years old (maybe an early sign of my sexual orientation?). Definitely had (have) middle child syndrome. Growing up in the woods meant I had to find ways to entertain myself and it really allowed for the development of a deep imagination, playing through made up stories in my head, running from imaginary monsters, and countless hours at the kitchen table drawing. 

My interests & influences are sometimes a contradiction. I deeply love nature yet I love & live in NYC. I love the old masters of traditional art, yet I’m mostly a digital artist, just to name a couple. I'm also a history nerd, a bit of a gay-mer, an amateaur chef, as well as a plant & cat daddy, with a flare for fashion. Ask me about high court society in the year 950 Japan, Elizabethan England, Pokemon or 90’s anime and we’ll have a real conversation!

All jokes aside, I make art and I’d like to share it with you! With my years of agency experience, I understand how the business end of the commercial art industry works; which makes for a unique & smooth artistic collaboration.
