This was a fully integrated experiential production for the Columbia School of Journalism. We took over a popular newsstand in NYC’s Bryant Park on 42nd street. The stand was filled with “real fake news” that was sourced from the internet and printed into traditional news formats like magazines and newspapers. We filmed and photographed reactions of passerby's as they stopped for their daily paper only to be stumped by outlandish headlines & stories that could only make us question the importance of truth in reporting & news. The project tapped into skills across print production, photography, video, as well as live event.

This was one of the most rewarding, important & educational projects I’ve ever helped to produce.
